EuropeEast: Budapest, Vienna, and Prague (March 2008)

March 2009: Michele finished up at grad school, so of course travel was on the agenda. Her choice of destinations: Eastern Europe. She first spent a week in Croatia with two friends of a friend, then I joined up with her in Budapest, Hungary. From there we took to quick train rides to Vienna, Austria, and Prague, Czech Republic.

Budapest, Terror Museum Facade

Budapest, home of Buda, Pest, an unspeakable language, and more history than you can shake a pot of goulash at.

Third stop: Prague, where even in blustery March there are tons of tourists (at least 62% of which are drunk and/or British).
